Tank type resonant reactor is an up-to-date outdoor testing reactor for high voltage testing of upto 550kV/2.5A testing objects.
The testing objects of resonant reactor should be capacitive load so as to form resonance by reactor and capacitor.
As the reactance of resonant reactor is not adjustable, the tank type resonant reactor based testing system is usually comprised of tank type resonant reactor, excitation transformer, power frequency inverter, capacitor voltage divider(built in the tank), coupling capacitor(optional), partial discharge unit(optional) and testing object.
